The girls reunite at the uniting of the souls. It was a true celebration of love! We ate delish Italian food, drank fancy cocktails, danced til the high heels came off, sang our rendition of "We are Family" (insert Alpha Phi). We were the last to leave and the first to be asked how we felt in the morning at brunch!

Dinner with Skeletons

Dinner out with Wesley and the Maz. I had Veggie Chorizo tacos with nopalitos (cactus). Being vegetarian is really not that difficult in Austin where there always seems to be a veggie option...save for the BBQ joints.

Fredericksburg Visit

Although she missed the night flight of the South Congress bridge Mexican free-tailed bats, during the Maz's visit we sipped avocado margaritas (creamy, yes, resembles the green fruit? no.), had margaritas at the Oasis, margaritas at Hula Hut, margaritas at Z Tejas. Oh, right, and walked around the charming town of Fredericksburg...

Sometimes park-ing it is just the antidote to the stresses of M thru F. Finding shade is essential. Just take a hunting blanket disguised as Hawaii and let the animals encroach. Time will pass with the wedding parties whose groomsmen look like cowboy mariachis, families with one too many cameras to capture their little runt's every move and tubbies with bubblies.

At home on the ice and happy I can at least do a scratch spin. Even though I retreated to the corner, little girls still tracked me down, wanting instant training and instant results.

Having guests at the park when you've got a nibble or two is not uncommon. Bushytail here was especially amiable.
